Do you Walk your Cat on a Leash or use a Pet Stroller? I take my cat out but he's a slow walker. I'm thinking of getting him a pet stroller - has anyone tried them and what do you think? candygrr1 replied: "I don't have one, but they're adorable. My cat hate the leash! She's terrified of it!"

Fall Out Boy Forever replied: "Well, my cat learned to walk very well on a leash until he got older, so now I just use a baby stroller and he loves it, so I think it depends on the cat/kitten."

Hannah E replied: "I would use a leash. It's more healthy for the cat. Cats need excersize. More than 50% of pet cats are fat. It seems that cats would not like a pet stroller because they are naturally active creatures. Keep your cat healthy, use a leash.

I understand there are times when this is not possible, so my suggestion would be to check a local Goodwill or consignment store for either a used child's stroller or some type of shopping cart that you can put padding in the bottom to make the pup comfy. Good luck."

Try going to a used baby gear store like Kid to Kid or Once Upon a Child and getting a full sized one .Take some mosquito netting and sew it onto the canopy. durdenslabs replied: "You need to walk it like a normal dog. It's called exercise. All dogs need it and all dogs need to walk (rain or shine). I think it's a crock and the dog doesn't need a "raincoat" either. It has a coat, if it gets wet you DRY it!"

Yorkie's do tend to get cold in inclement weather, so a sweater for warmth and a jacket for rain is a good idea."
♥PomMom♥®™ replied: "Unless your dog has a medical condition where it's not able to walk, then No. Even little dogs need exercise and you will be surprised how much they will enjoy walking and smelling everything."
Kay replied: "if you don't let your dog exercise they will gain weight quickly and will lose muscle mass. Even if for long walks, they will get used to the stroller and then eventually depend on it every time for every walk. Water won't hurt. It is better if they are used to the water, than be afraid of it."
yesprobablymaybe replied: "Don't know much about the strollers, so can't help you there, but I have a Yorkie/Maltese mix and she can walk about 10 to 15 mins or so most of the time before we call it quits or carry her because it wears her out. We also carry a puppy water bottle on walks because she gets overheated so easily."
